Every figure below belongs to published research on that ingredient on its own, not to this finished formula. Yerba mate carries 196 active compounds, 52 more than green tea, and in its own ingredient studies measured a 40.5 percent increase in skin oxygen availability at 28 days. Chlorogenic acid from yerba mate has been studied for its effect on glycation, the process that stiffens collagen with sugar. Niacinamide measured increases in ceramide and free fatty acid synthesis in its own ingredient studies; on skin that reads as a barrier that looks stronger and tone that looks more even. Rice extract (Oryza Sativa) has been studied on its own for inhibiting MMP-1, the enzyme that breaks down collagen under stress. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 has been studied for supporting collagen and elastin signaling. Formula is pH balanced at 5.5. Doctor recommended by one integrative doctor. Ingredient data comes from independent, published research on that ingredient alone, not from testing this finished product. Individual results may vary.
